Imagine Otherwise presents the world with an ongoing collectible series of introductory documents to some of the most significant artists of our time—only catch is, you might have never ever heard of them: Enter the world of discovery! These beautiful pocket-sized books convene minds from across disciplines to author illustrated biographies—narrating artist journeys from an inter-generational perspective. Each volume presents a different queer, non-binary, or female-identifying figure to the world, who has developed a substantial body of work over an extended period, but who does not currently have a monograph in-print or in the English language. These newly commissioned perspectives, each present new histories, alongside original documentation, alongside original prose that seeks to foster a world where we can indeed, “imagine, otherwise”!
